Tuberculosis is a bad disease which can happen in your whole body like your lungs, kidney and bones. If TB gets into your Lungs you will start getting scares which makes you cough and sometimes if it gets sever you will start developing a cough with blood. Some countries like Africa, Russia, China and south America have high rates of TB. Tb can only infect people, If you do have the disease you will developed weight loss, high fever, loss of appetite, night sweat and tiredness and fatigue and last of all swelling  in your neck. If you are diagnosed with Tb stay away from either school, work, until you have gotten treatment and always cover your mouth and when coughing and your nose when sneezing and don’t sleep in the same room as any one else. Your immune system can help stop the bacteria but cant always kill the bacteria but can prevent it from entering the rest of the body.

 

 

 There is treatment, which can give you a very high chance of being well again. You will need serval types of antibiotics to get healthy again because the bacteria usually finds a way to overcome the treatment. You can be on treatment for a short period of time like a month but it can also take you months and sometimes a year before healthy again. The two treatments are Isoniazid and rifampicin for the first six months. If you still aren’t well there is treatment for the other 6 months you get pyrazinamide and ethambutol. Back along time ago they didn’t have treatment and death was much more common from Tuberculosis. You wont need to be isolated you just need to stay away from family and friends so you dont infect them too.
